Four manuals and guides will be produced during the course of ITCAN, focusing on different areas of ICT training for development. Specifically, they are: ICT for Beginners, ICT for Advanced Users, Reaching beneficiaries using ICTs and Using ICTs for press and advocacy work in SRH. All publications will be available as PDFs and as hard copies; to order a hard copy, please send an email to info@it-can.org.

 

 

ICT for Beginners - A Resource Manual
This manual identifies a number of high quality free training workshops with regard to basic ICT skills, classifying them according to focus and type of training course, whether it be email or internet-based, or downloadable. The aim of the manual is thus to be able to cater for varying degrees of connectivity, as well as to save time and effort for those organisations or individuals looking to enhance their capacities and find a course which suits their requirements the best.

ICT for Advanced Users - A Resource Manual
This resource manual builds on the concepts developed in the first manual "ICT for Beginners." taking a closer look at a number of tried and tested online and downloadable training courses,namely website construction, mailing lists and databases.
